Background: - This 3-rail layout is on the second floor above his O Scale Layout housed in an attached 6 car garage. Terry received his first train as a three year old and continued to build an impressive operating set until his teens. The usual story applies as he sold off his hard-earned paper boy train collection to pursue cars and girls. During those early train collection years, Terry was mentored by Lloyd Nelson, a 47 year member of the National Model Railroad Association. In 1993, Terry visited his now 84 year old mentor and at Lloyd's suggestion, Terry bought this cherished collection and rebuilt it at his home in Cherry Hills Village, Colorado. Lloyd had the opportunity to visit Terry's revised layout featuring his old collection before he passed away. Currently revised, and now sporting Lionel's TMC control with three Lionel ZWs, Gargrave track and Ross Custom switches, the collection has grown beyond anything Terry ever imagined as a young paper boy.
